Kayne West pleaded not guilty to the charges of attacking a photographer and destroying his camera which is alleged to of occurred at Los Angeles International Airport in September 2008. Kayne was arrested along with his road manager while trying to make a flight to Honolulu.
There is reported video evidence of the two men involved in an altercation with the photographer and wrestling his camera away and smashing it into the ground. West wrote on his blog, "I'm cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn't cool. I gotta work now … I'll rant later!" Two months later in England, West was also reported to have been arrested for an incident with the paparazzi but no charges were laid.
Both men were not present at the L.A courtroom on Friday but their Attorneys pleaded not guilty on their behalf on the misdemeanor vandalism, battery and grand theft charges.
